24 Months in Care

Georgia has monthly subsidies for children who have been in care for 24 consecutive months.

Samantha* had been raising her nephew for two and a half years as a DFCS safety placement. I convinced DHS that that counts as DFCS placement, unlocking monthly subsidies of $400** a month to help pay for his teenage grocery bills.

I excel at gathering timelines that satisfy administrative criteria on the first try.

I'm perfect for a grandparent raising a grandchild. You’ll see them making multiple trips to Costco each month. They want to not worry about being eaten out of house and home.

Ask them, "What’s the most interesting place you’ve traveled to in the last few years?”
