Custody Modification- 2 Years After
Now that the holidays are over, some families are realizing that their prior parenting plans aren't working.
Think of Teresa*. She and her ex have been divorced for 5 years. Each Christmas, her daughter comes home crying because her father gets drunk and leaves her in the care of his roommates.
Enter child custody modifications. Because the plan was more than 2 years old, we were able to go to the court and ask for a modification. Now the ex has to be supervised and sober during his visits, making sure that Teresa's daughter stays safe.
I'm perfect for the parent who wants to make sure their child stays safe while with their other parent.
